These brackets fit round and square crossbars with simple bolt and hex key securement, and their soft rounded shape, low height and rounded edges make loading and unloading easy on you and your boat. And once underway, the brackets will both support and stabilize your canoe on the crossbars. Gunwale brackets come with premium heavy-duty tie-down straps with coated metal buckles to secure the boat to the roof rack. Bow and stern tie-downs (sold separately) should also be used for complete stability.
