The single port thread size of this MGB riser is 12mm-1.5. The riser has a thickness of 5/8. Kits include a riser, 2 gaskets, and three long bolts.
A major advantage to TBI equipped cars is improved accuracy for the coolant temp sensor as it samples head coolant temps directly and tends to shorten high idle times,lowering RPMs quicker. It also provides a convenient simple location to mount a coolant temp sensor. A thermostat rated at 180 degrees is recommended for all fuel injection conversions.
