The KW Street Comfort Coil-over Lowering Kit is designed for the car enthusiast that mainly drives on the street, who wants a more aggressive look with better handling and control. The kit comes with front and rear coil-overs that have a manual adjustment knob to increase or decrease the rebound rate. With the springs fully extended and soft rebound settings, you can expect a comfortable and compliant ride. With the car lowered 1.2-1.4 inches, and the rebound at a stiffer setting, you can expect greatly improved handling characteristics, with less body roll, nose dive, and rear squat when cornering, braking, or accelerating.
The Street Comfort Coil-over Lowering Kit shock absorbers feature a twin-tube design, which consists of an inner and outer tube, for superior performance. The high-strength springs go through a multi-level tempering process where the metal is heated, and then cooled slowly for increased strength and durability. The springs are then shot-blasted to smooth out the surface before they are coated with a long-lasting finish that reduces noise and vibration, while protecting against corrosion.
