With these variable rate springs, youll get a better ride, improved ground clearance, and more room for larger tires. When coupled with an aftermarket shock like Fox 2.0 Adjustable shocks, youll get even more comfort, while maintaining off-road prowess. These springs give your G-class approximately a 3 lift (70mm) in front and a 2 lift (50mm) in the rear. With 33 tires, you get another 1 of height, and with 35 tires, you get another 2 of height. That might not seem like a lot, but it makes a big difference when youre standing next to the truck, or getting in/out.
In stock form, the car has a little rake to it, sitting higher in the rear like a pickup truck to accommodate cargo and towing. When you lift the G-class, that rake gets even more pronounced. The varied spring heights solve this problem. You get a lift and leveling at the same time. And since theyre variable rate springs, you can still load up the cargo areatruck stays level.
